Lakes Transportation veterans support has always been more than a tagline; it is a commitment we live out in the community, which is why we are thrilled to announce that Lakes Transportation is proudly donating to this year's Go Topless Day charity event, a beloved veterans' community gathering that brings Jeep lovers and big hearts together for one unforgettable day. Expect a roaring Jeep convoy veterans tribute, raffles, prizes, amazing food, and fun for the whole family, proving that community support means showing up in person.
Whether you drive a Jeep, a pickup, or a minivan, whether you live in town or are driving in from the next county, this event is for you. Bring your friends. Bring your energy. Bring your heart. Let's make some noise and show our veterans the support they deserve.
What Is Go Topless Day?
National Jeep Go Topless Day is an annual worldwide celebration in which Jeep owners welcome spring by removing their vehicle roofs and doors. First launched in 2008, the event has grown into a global movement built on three pillars: community, charity, and open-air freedom. Thousands of Jeep enthusiasts gather in cities and small towns across the country and around the world to cruise together, raise money for worthy causes, and simply enjoy life at its most unfiltered.
This year, one of the event's beneficiaries is local veterans. And Lakes Transportation could not be more honored to help make it happen. Learn more about the global movement here.

What Our Donation Means for Post 558
When Lakes Transportation commits to veterans support, we mean it in a tangible way. Our donation to this Go Topless Day charity event goes directly to American Legion Post 558, the local organization that works behind the scenes every single day to ensure our veterans are not left behind.
Here's what Post 558 does with every dollar raised at this veteran community event:
- • Covers medical costs and co-pays for veterans who fall through the cracks of government assistance
- • Provides gas money so veterans can get to critical medical appointments
- • Sources wheelchairs, walkers, and other medical equipment
- • Builds accessibility ramps and makes small home improvements so veterans can live safely and independently
